    Dr. Wallis Marsh
Dr. Marsh earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas, and served his residency in general surgery at the St. Paul Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. He held fellowships in renal transplantation surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and in liver transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Marsh has been named to the Pittsburgh Magazine “Top Doctors” list for six consecutive years.

Dr. Marsh has performed more than 500 liver transplants, resections, and other hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgical procedures. His long-standing clinical interest in hepatic cancers resulted in his co-development of a neural network model to predict recurrence and time to recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma after transplantation. This work will result in better utilization of donors, predictable outcomes after transplantation, and a better understanding of chemotherapy on this disease process.
